Improved Reporting

We’ve fundamentally reworked our Reporting to give you more structure and detailed insights.

Key updates include:

  • Redesigned reporting interface & destination repositories
  • Support for OS-only systems
  • Extended detail view for each server (SAP, SAP- DB, and OS-only)
  • Detailed display of operating system information

These enhancements provide clearer system overviews and make evaluating systemdata much easier.

Framework Enhancements

The 25.6 release delivers significant updates to the EPOS framework, with a focus on performance and stability.

New Features:

  • EPOS internal databases: A new maintenance job ensures a daily, consistent backup of all internal EPOS databases - fully integrated.
  • Reverse proxy integration (Caddy): Enhances performance for HTTPS connections
  • UserExit Sets: Centrally define UserExit sets directly on the EPOS server - now reusable in any job, with maximum flexibility

Automation Extensions

Release 25.6 also brings substantial improvements to automation capabilities:

Data Collector – now ONLY ONE

The previous data collectors have been consolidated. All collectors are now centrally managed and accessed via Reporting → Data Collector.

New app for updating ABAP components like SPAM/SAINT, ST-PO, and ST-A/PI

New options within the SAP Transports app

Redesigned interfaces for Database Update apps

Important Notice: .NET GUI Deprecation

Just a reminder:

As of release 25.6, the .NET GUI is no longer supported.
This legacy user interface will be discontinued in all future versions starting with 25.6.

Conclusion: Greater Clarity and Consistency

With EPOS 25.6, we’re delivering clear improvements across the UI, reporting, and automation modules. Simplified operations, enhanced server visibility, and built-in database security ensure even greater efficiency in your SAP Basis environment.
