New EPOS Release 25.7 with redesigned Certificate Management App and many new features

As part of the ongoing development process of the automation platform EPOS by Empirius, version 25.7 is now available for use. The main focus: the completely redesigned EPOS app for automated certificate management (Certificate Management App), along with numerous new and optimized features for both the EPOS Server and the EPOS Framework.

Automation

Major redesign of the EPOS Certificate Management App - meeting the growing need for Certificate Security

The challenges are significant: SAP certificates and IT certificates must be renewed at increasingly shorter intervals. Expired or non-renewed certificates can jeopardize IT operations and SAP usage - and ultimately business continuity.

It is therefore no surprise that automated, needs-based certificate management ranks at the top of many companies’ wish lists. With the fully redesigned EPOS Certificate Management App, available with the new EPOS version 25.7, we now fully address this requirement.

Highlights of the new EPOS Certificate Management App:

  • Guided workflow automation
  • Handling of PIN-protected PSEs
  • Completely new dashboard
  • Use of standards such as the ACME protocol, EST, and ADCS
  • Support for Java systems
  • and more

Release 25.7 comes with many additional enhancements – for the EPOS Server as well as the EPOS Framework

In addition to the new Certificate Management App, further enhancements have been implemented across all EPOS DB update apps, including the Profile Parameter app, the SAP Kernel Update app, and the SAP Compliance Management app.

Core areas of the EPOS Server and EPOS Framework have also been further developed. Highlights include:

  • The UI now offers expanded personalization options, access to additional information, and more
  • A new Dependencies Editor for defining dependencies and managing start/stop sequences of SAP systems
  • New configuration options for jobs and ticketing systems, for example for billing assignments,
  • A revised UserExit API
  • EPOS Server: storage optimization
  • New SAPLOGINFBONLY for SAP/RFC activities/logins
